The FACES Foundation
Family And Caregiver Education & Support
To benefit patients, families and caregivers dealing with diseases of the lungs.
The work of The FACES Foundation continues to support its mission to acknowledge
and promote professional excellence in the education and care of patients with lung
diseases. FACES reflects, acknowledges, and advocates for the many “faces” of those living
with life threatening pulmonary diseases: the patients; their support network of close family
and friends; and those unsung heroes in the respiratory profession, who understand that
each breath matters. In 2006, The FACES Foundation was established in memory of
Philip. C. Lamka who passed away from an interstitial lung disease.

Ohio Valley Pulmonary Services
in Honor of
Rusty (Russ) Stewart, CRT, CDT
Dr. Francis Lee, MD and his office staff in Belpre, Ohio were
searching for a way to honor Russ for the exemplary care he
continually provides their patients and we are thankful they
found The FACES Foundation!
Wow, their write-up about Russ was beyond amazing! It truly
shows that his exemplary care is noticed by all of his patients
and the staff. We love the patient quote, "That guy right there is
the best medicine for us bunch of old, grouchy, tired and sick
people. I wonder if he has any idea." Well, I hope you know now,
Russ! Click HERE to read about how much Russ's care makes
a difference in the lives of Dr. Lee's patients.
Russ is a perfect example of why The FACES Foundation
exists...to honor and recognize RTs who provide exemplary care
to patients and who continue to improve the care that pulmonary
patients need. The FACES Foundation honors you Russ
Stewart! Keep up the amazing work - you are making a
difference in your patient's lives!
