Breathing is the essence of life. The FACES (Family & Caregiver Education & Support) Foundation promotes professional excellence in the education and care of patients with pulmonary illnesses. The PHIL Award (Pulmonary Health & Illnesses of The Lungs) is named for the founder’s husband who passed from a lung disease. This national program honors respiratory therapists as nominated by patients, family members and other caregivers. Overview

Responsible for marketing, public relations, fundraising-including grant writing and coordinating the annual golf outing/silent auction.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce a plus.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. The ability to learn new programs as needed.

  • Superior written and verbal skills.

  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.

  • Ability to work effectively with a team as well as independently.

  • Able to communicate to existing partners and cultivate new contacts for the purpose of obtaining partnerships, seeking silent auction donations, etc.

  • Keen ability to analyze and seek solutions to problems.

  • A self-starter that is also able to follow though on directions, ask questions, provideinput and complete a task on deadline.
