About The FACES Foundation

• Breathing is the essence of life. The FACES (Family & Caregiver Education & Support) Foundation promotes professional excellence in the education and care of patients with pulmonary illnesses. The PHIL (Pulmonary Health & Illnesses of the Lungs) Award program honors respiratory therapists as nominated by patients, family members and other caregivers. The FACES Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization founded in Metropolitan Detroit in 2006.

Overview of Position

• This position will have primary responsibility for executing the coordination of shipping via UPS quality checks, inventory (packaging materials and awards). This is a supporting role in the organization. These activities are essential for the efficient administration of the PHIL Award program honoring outstanding respiratory therapists.

Responsibilities

• Assist with packaging of presentation packages for PHIL Award hospital partners and delivery to UPS store.

• Coordinate with president to acquire and maintain internal inventory of presentation materials (Sculptures/frames).

• Works with software programs including MS Word, MS Excel, Salesforce, and Squarespace. Qualifications

• Effective organizational and time-management skills.

• Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.

• Ability to initiate and follow through on work independently.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Desired work ethic to include being detailed oriented, highly organized, positive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn, self-starter/motivated.

• Strong computer skills for data entry are required.

• Reliable transportation required.
