Three years background in Marketing, PR and/or Communications. Experience with nonprofits is a plus.
Breathing is the essence of life. The FACES (Family & Caregiver Education & Support) Foundation promotes professional excellence in the education and care of patients with pulmonary illnesses. The PHIL Award (Pulmonary Health & Illnesses of The Lungs) is named for the founder’s husband who passed from a lung disease. This national program honors respiratory therapists as nominated by patients, family members and other caregivers. Responsible for marketing, public relations, fundraising-including grant writing and coordinating the annual golf outing/silent auction.
Experience with Salesforce a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. The ability to learn new programs as needed.
Superior written and verbal skills.
Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to work effectively with a team as well as independently.
Able to communicate to existing partners and cultivate new contacts for the purpose of obtaining partnerships, seeking silent auction donations, etc.
Keen ability to analyze and seek solutions to problems.
A self-starter that is also able to follow though on directions, ask questions, provideinput and complete a task on deadline.
