THE FACES FOUNDATION PARTNERS WITH VAPOTHERM
TO RECOGNIZE OUTSTANDING RESPIRATORY THERAPISTS

MILFORD, MI, July 25, 2016 – The FACES Foundation (Family and Caregiver Education & Support), a Milford based nonprofit organization, is proud to announce that they have been awarded a charitable grant from Vapotherm, Inc. to help support their signature program, The PHIL Award (Pulmonary Health and Illnesses of the Lungs). The PHIL Award is the only national award that recognizes outstanding respiratory therapists who provide exemplary care and treatment for patients with respiratory illnesses, as nominated by patients, family members, and other caregivers.  Once a year, hospital partners across the country present The PHIL Award to an outstanding respiratory therapist.  In addition to being known throughout the country as 'the best of the best' in respiratory care, PHIL Award recipients receive the Appreciation sculpture from FACES.  It illuminates the relationship between the RT and the patient.  In support of the importance of continuing education, the honoree also receives paid tuition from FACES to their state's annual professional conference.
