Mutahr Mutahr RRT was honored on May 14, 2009, presented with the
PHIL Award by Sharman Lamka founder of the PHIL foundation. Mutahr is
a Charge Therapist at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor since
August of 2004. He joined the team with a wide range of national and
international Respiratory Care experience. The family of a CCU patient
nominated him in December 2008 for his compassionate caring.
Quote from nomination letter:
“You talked and cried with my son as his dad was in critical condition, you touch mine and his heart.
You talked to my son as a father would to his son. Thank-you so much for being a wonderful Respiratory
Therapist and being with us all night to help my son understand what was going on. Bless you. Don’t
ever stop caring you are an angel God send.”
